Conferences, Publications & Media

STEMCAP disseminates program processes and results to a variety of national conferences and publications. Using program evaluation methods approved by the Institutional Review Board, we formally evaluate the outcomes of each workshop and presentation. These methods aim to determine the effectiveness of the programming in imparting scientific knowledge, inspiring youth to engage with science, encouraging students to self-identify as science-capable learners, providing YIC teachers with more resources, and shifting presenters’ perception of Youth-In-Custody.
