Students at Gemstone and Day Skills Intervention at the Salt Lake Valley Youth Center are participating in a 10 day science program hosted through the University of Utah, STEMCAP (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Community Alliance Program). They will be exploring the topic of extinction and will create a podcast as the vehicle for sharing the information they gathered and learned regarding extinction.
The first few days consisted of identifying key elements of a quality podcast through listening to various types of public information podcasts.
