Brenna received a degree in Operations Management and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at university, she managed the University’s Office of Sustainability Waste and Recycling Team. After graduating, she moved back to Chicago to work on the energy efficiency side of sustainability. A love for the mountains eventually led her to Salt Lake City and Creative Energies. At Creative Energies, she is the Project Manager for the Salt Lake City office. In her spare time, Brenna manages partnerships for Outdoor Women’s Alliance and spends every other moment she can skiing, hiking, and biking.

Brenna joined us to present for our “Mission STEMCAP: Pollution” series, sharing with students her work in the field of Solar Energy. She described the various roles that are available in the industry and talked about the current rapid advancements in solar technology. The students did an activity where they built their own small solar-powered cars and tested them with varying angles and concentrations of sunlight.
