Ashley CassCola Battery
Ashley C. Cass received her B.S. in chemistry and a minor in biology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2015. She began her graduate studies in 2015 and is currently in her third year working towards her Ph.D. in physical/materials chemistry at the University of Utah in Scott Anderson’s lab. Her research interests are focused on studying the fundamental chemistry governing model size-selected cluster catalysts. Specifically, catalyst surface chemistry, electronic structure, and reactivity and how these factors, that are often cluster size dependent, affect catalytic and electrocatalytic activity. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, sewing, and spending time with her husband, Alex.
